Enjoy an exciting traditional canoe ride along the Chagres River and enter the jungle with a half-hour walk over mud, water and slippery rocks until you reach a beautiful waterfall. Take advantage of the free time at the waterfall to take a refreshing swim, relax and admire the natural surroundings.

Then, return by canoe and visit an authentic Emberá indigenous community. There, you will be welcomed with a typical lunch, traditional music and dances in a hut. Take the opportunity to learn about the culture and lifestyle of this fascinating tribe through a conversation with the chief or one of the leaders before heading back to Panamá Town.

Important information:

The walk can be challenging, with walking on mud, sand, slippery rocks, and through water. Make sure you wear shoes that have good grip and that you don't mind getting wet.

There are no changing rooms at the waterfall - you can swim with your clothes on or wear a swimsuit underneath. At the end of the tour, there are proper toilets in the village where you can change and take an extra change of clothes for the way back to your accommodation.
