Our 2.5-hour foodie walking tour begins at Parque Omar. We will start by visiting a juice stand to enjoy a refreshing drink crafted from fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. You might experience the taste of passion fruit for the first time, along with the sweetest pineapple in the world. Following that, we will head to an open-air restaurant where we will sample appetizers featuring traditional Panamanian dishes such as carimañola and hojaldra. Afterward, we’ll stroll through the neighborhood to a casual eatery, where we’ll savor dishes inspired by Panama"s rich tapestry of influential immigrants—imagine Asian-style braised pork belly served with greens and white rice, alongside flavorful Mediterranean grilled octopus (included). The tour wraps up at a bakery run by a couple who met in culinary school, where they creatively apply new techniques to local ingredients, transforming classic Panamanian desserts like mamallena, which you will get to taste.
