WHAT'S DOWN THERE?
Panama offers great diving opportunities. In Bocas del toro alone, you will find about 74 of the 79 known types of coral in the Caribbean, Lots of colourful sponges, Usual reef fish, like Queen, French and Grey Angels, Parrot fish, Hogfish, Triggerfish and many more. Nurse Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays and Southern Rays are often seen as well as crabs, lobsters, moray eels and less usual fish like Toadfish, Batfish and Spotted Drums.

STAFF
Our professional Divemasters and licensed Boat Captains are helpful, fun and friendly local staff who are completely bilingual in English and Espaņol. Our certified PADI Instructor is fluent in English and Deutsch and also teaches in Spanish, if required. We're serious about safety, quality and FUN!

We have VERY competitive prices and special rates for groups and Travel Agencies and we can help you find hotel accommodation to suit your budget or organize accommodation for groups. Hotel accommodations are available from very low-priced backpacker accommodation ($5 and up) to excellent medium/luxurious hotels ($20-$45 double) and more expensive. Tell us how many you are, what you want to do and when you'd like to come. We're waiting to hear from you.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Your swim suit and a towel
  • If you plan on diving please bring your diving certification and dive log, and personal diving gear if you have it, otherwise we can provide what you need.
  • Sun protection -- Hat, long sleeved shirt, sunglasses, plenty of sun block (There's a limited selection on the island), sunburn remedy (e.g.) Solarcain.
  • Camera
  • Books to read (we have a very small book exchange and few English languages books can be purchased on the island)
  • U.S. Cash, Visa or MasterCard. Travellers cheques in U.S. dollars can be changed only at the bank and other currencies are not accepted on the island. There is an ATM on the island for cash advances on your card.
  • Panama Visa.
  • Malaria protection is NOT necessary in this area.
  • Passport, photo I.D. or a photocopy of your passport must be carried at all times in town.
  • Shirts must always be worn on the streets of the town.

HOW TO GET HERE
Several airline fly from the U.S. to Panama City, Panama. From Panama City, there are several direct flights daily from Panama City to Bocas Del Toro (one hour or less), or you can make the Panama-David-Bocas connection. By highway in a bus or rental car from Panama City, (or from San Jose, Costa Rica) it takes 8 - 10 hours to drive to the port town of Almirante where you can catch the regular Water Taxis to the town of Bocas del Toro on Isla Colon. Leave your rental car in Almirante everything in Bocas town is within easy walking distance and taxis around town are only 50 cents per person.
